I'm just a girl.. right..?..!

I have been away for a while...

1st I went to Arizona, to start to ride

my bike for the first time in a long time...

I thought that by going to AZ;

where I had so many great memories;

I could find peace and help me feel better again...

To say the least... it did not.

As the last time I was in AZ,

I was 'working' as a professional mountain bike racer.
Those days are long gone...
As I found out, there was so much "down time"-

now that I was no longer racing...
it actually drove me crazy!!

So, I made my way to CA.

to be with my husband, Bruce, who is now back at work;

working full-time!

Buddy was so happy to be with is dad...

He even tried to help him with his work,

so Bruce, could spend some time with us.

And while Bruce is at work,

I try to capitalize on the wonderful weather
out here...

This is one of my favorite trails to hike.

And one of our old 'warm-ups' when we used to train.

It is just about one mile from our house.
I also have been riding my bike,

and of course...

shopping!

Since the weather was rainy yesterday,

I took off in quest to find a pair of 'flip flops' ...

Shopping for shoes!

What else could a girl do..?..

And when I saw these, I had to have them.

Me, being only 5' 2" (and 3/4")..

I love it when I can simply wear a pair of shoes and

gain a good 3 to 4 inches of height.

I think by wearing these I am at least 5'6" or so...

And of course I added my signature bling!

I love anything that sparkles.

Now that I see the photos-

I think I need to start using a sunscreen on my toes!

(they look pretty wrinkly..)

Oh well, call me a shoe hog,

or just simply a girl!

After all... one can never have too many shoes..

Right.!..?..
