Got Wood?

With winter fast approaching,

Bruce, Buddy, and I decided to drive up into

the mountains to cut some trees down

for our stock of firewood...

On the way up we got to experience
mother nature's master piece...

The photo's just do not show how truly

beautiful everything is...

This is the view from where we decided to

stop and cut, not bad... hey?

Bruce and my 'mini boss' chainsaw,

on top the stack of trees we cut down...

After several hours of hard work,

we made our way down the mountain...

Looking down, to where we will soon be...

Driving through the Aspens...

We made it home, and Bruce was pretty

proud of all the hard work we did,

and the growing pile of wood...

A few of our neighbors came over to help stack

the wood that we recently split...

After several trips to the mountains,

we finally have our stock of wood for the winter..

It was a long day, and everyone was exhausted...
