Sea Otter Classic '07:

We arrived at the Sea Otter Classic,

in Monterey, Ca.

Got our Lance camper all set up,

and went out to do the usual 'meet & greet'...

Before we took off to do that, I noticed that
Dave Cullinan, former World Downhill Champion, had his tricked out trailer parked next to ours.

While making our rounds, we ran into Heidi and Michael,
they too will be racing the cross country.

And then I saw Rachel Throop, this is her first year
racing with the pro woman.
Looks like she is picking up a bit of swag!

I saw that Thomas Frischknecht was giving
out autographs, and couldn't resist...

I hopped over to give Zap Espinoza a big hug
and a "Thank You!"

While Bruce could not believe his ears!

Said hello to Christopher Dragon, with JBL,
and want to wish his mother-in-law,
Gale Spaulding, who also has Lupus, the Best!

Stopped by to chat with Josh Coaplen, Cane Creek
Cycling Components, who can hopefully fix Bruce's
broken wheel...

They have so much going on at this event...
Here is an insane bike jump...
that guy might want to get out of the way...quickly!

We watched the kids road race.

They got to race on the same circuit as the pros.

On our way back to the camper to get ready
for our own ride, we ran into the future
Downhill Champions...

Guess who we ran into while out pre-riding
the race course...Thomas Frischknecht!

Bruce wanted to sneak into the photo as well..
It was a long day, but the weather was good and
I had a lot of fun!
