NOVA Classic:

Bruce was off to a great start in the

cross country race, pushing beyond the comfort zone.

The high heat took its tole on everyone.
And many were victims to the jagged rocks and cacti...

Bruce was no exception...

Here in the tech zone, Dusty LeBar (Head Mechanic)

tries to help Bruce get back into the race.

He experienced five flat tires!

Extremely upset, Bruce was forced to abandon the race.

Dean Gore, (Team Director) and Zack Vestal, (National Team
Manager) were perplexed with the number of casualties.

As the sun set on a long day,

Bruce made a nice fire in the fire pit...

And I cooked up a mean meal on the BBQ.

Buddy made sure to let his Dad know

that he was still his hero,

no matter how his race turned out!

After putting everything into perspective,

Bruce realized how much fun we really had on

our trip to Arizona.

"No worries, there is always next year... right?!"
