The Big Race:

We all gathered at the start line for the

main event~ the kids race!

(is it me, or are there more pro racers than kids?..)

Everyone listening intently to the 'race instructions'

before the start.

And we are off!!!
The pace was fast, and the large crowd of
spectators were cheering for their favorites.

up with the leaders, setting a good pace.

Here we are riding down the back stretch

for our second and final lap.

This little boy here (A.K.A Johny T.)

has a racing career in his future.

With a little help, Sunshine (#912),

was able to hold off Chloe Forsman (#11),

the current collegiate National Champion.

In the end, everyone was all smiles!

With each child being a winner;

receiving a race number plate,

a cold beverage, a finishing medal,

and memories to last a lifetime.
